10th December

Post by Perton Pitman »

Vics play their replay at Ilson tomorrow night and should they lose then we will play them on the 10th as planned. If they win then our game will be called off. It is possible that should the fixture be called off then the league may ask us to play our home fixture vs Mickleover (scheduled for the end of January). At present Mickleover and SPS are without a game on the 10th but they are due to face each other on Boxing Day and Easter Monday (unlikely that either will want to alter this given the chance for decent crows).

Yeah I really hope Vics win. I've got to miss the 10th due to a pre booked commitment and I'd much rather miss a game against Mickleover than a game against Northwich.
I've been dreading the possibility of the league arranging us to play FC United of Manchester away on this date as I don't want to miss that either but if they are knocked out of the FA Trophy their scheduled league game at home to Matlock should now go ahead after Matlock's FA Trophy defeat yesterday.

Let's not forget also that either way that day we will have four players suspended, Craney, Pedro, Marv and Wellers so it will no doubt be a difficult fixture whoever we play against!

Vics 2 up now. Budrys has scored both goals.

Looks like we'll be playing Mickleover at best on the 10th

Just hope the League get their fingers out and sort a game for us on 10 December, or else a lot of best-laid plans are going to gang agley!!

Well Mickleover is the only option so hopefully if the result stays unchanged the league will move quickly as they have done all season

Vics won 5-1 so our game with them on the 10th will now have to be re-arranged. Let's see of the league fix us up with Mickleover now. They are very dangerous going forwards, but suspect at the back looking at their stats

Now that the Northwich game is off, can I be cheeky enough to ask the league not to bring forward the Mickleover game so I don't miss any matches at all??

I'm sure the lads could do with a Saturday off.

Problems here continue as if we don't get a rearranged fixture the "Northwich" glut of suspensions will impose on the Worksop game on the 17th, probably one of the most improved teams.

This League ain't easy is it !!!!!

I hear that some wag from Chasetwon has suggested we bring forward the Boxing Day game..... the only logical reason for that is that it could reduce the chances of a postponement.... but for financial and tactical reasons it makes no sense....

Nowt else locally in our league to attract me if we don't have the Mickleover game rescheduled

Two trips to Dales Lane will be enough for me this season....

The Official Site will be updated some time this evening but in the meantime you can take it as official that we WILL now be at home to Mickleover on 10 December

Great stuff, well done NPL again, hope it works as well as the rescheduled fixture at Buxton did!!
