Confirmation also in that list that Wycherley has joined Nantwich, not that we doubted Jackie's word for a second; and Sean Williams to Warrington, I've lost track of his cross-Lancs movements...

Worth a look at the rest of Haughmond's tweets during their 6-0 defeat too, they're funny!

I went to watch Shifnal v Whitchurch today. The home side won 3-1 with Sam Griffiths tapping home on the goal line after a knock down. Wycherley played in goal and made several smart saves as Shifnal wobbled in the last 15. Ryan Pryce had a steady game at the back and Andre Brown had a quiet afternoon in attack, blazing over twice when well placed and not doing a great deal more.
A nice set up at Shifnal - I haven't been there for 20 odd years

Reading about Steve Hodge auctioning off Maradona’s ‘Hand of God’ shirt in the paper today got got me wondering where Elliot had ended up after he left us in 2020; looks like he’s jacked football in to be a graphic designer according to his LinkedIn profile:

Did we know that Jim Lawrie is now plying his trade for Witton Albion? You probably all did, I didn't...

I went to watch sporting khalsa v boldmere in the Walsall senior Cup semi final. Gurjit Singh and Lewis archer lined up against each other. Both did little and were subbed after an hour
Boldmere deservedly led 2-1 until the second last kick of the game when khalsa equalised.
The ref rightly added 6 minutes on at the end due to "canny game management" by boldmere.
This resulted in their manager Neil kitching ( ex strangers) spending 5 minutes bollocking the ref instead of using the time to sort his penalty takers out.
The shoot out saw a number of high quality pens being converted, but boldmere missed their 4th and so went out.
