Five Live commentator (I think his name's Darren Fletcher but they all sound the same to me, apart from the Irish ones) at Villa Park yesterday:

"We're using the yellow ball now that it's winter, which reminds me, the clocks go back tonight... you people who play Sunday morning football, don't be using as an excuse to your manager that you forgot to do it...."

Erm, if they forgot to do it, they'd have turned up an hour early this morning

Ditto this weekend, but for "back" read "forward" and for GMT read BST (well, it will probably say GMT+1)!

Don't forget to do it all again Saturday night/Sunday morning folks - dark at 5pm from Sunday, accompanied by 90mph winds and torrential rain.

Someone build an ark!!

Ditto on Saturday night/Sunday morning*, except that in this instance the clocks are going forward and you'll be selecting GMT +1

:)

It's that time again.

And as you enjoy your extra hour's sleep (you're probably doing it as I write) spare a thought for the poor but very friendly guy in his little box on the M6 Toll who has an extra hour's work to do tonight; and the poor lads on talkSPORT who usually have to do a 6-hour show from midnight to 6am, 7 hours tonight

Clocks forward this Saturday night/Sunday morning - I'm usually across this but even I was nearly caught out this time, with the following Saturday being 31st. #springishere
