I went to watch title chasing Lichfield get absolutely battered by Darlaston today. Rivel Mardenborough was lively on the wing for the home side and won the penalty for the second goal.

Demetri Brown came on for Lichfield for the last 10 minutes, but by then it was 4-0.

No idea how Lichfield are second - they were awful today and failed to register a shot on target all match despite having a strong wind in their favour in the first half. Congleton only need a point - which they should get at Tividale in midweek to win the league and promotion to the NPL West Division

Not a step 4 player, but he was probably the best we could get on the budget Danny had at the start of the season. if we end up- at step 5 next season everyone will be gunning for our scalp
