Rushall won 2-0 in what was a low key affair. Khalsa had their keeper sent off after 7 minutes for taking out a Rushall forward outside the box as he bore down on the goal. No question it was a red card offence. THey had no sub 'keeper so their centre forward went in goal. Thorley scored the first goal, but Khalsa more than matched Rushall for the entire game and had two glorious chances to score when it was still 1-0.
Rushall were very poor, didn't test the stand-in 'keeper and looked bereft of confidence. It is easy to see how their form collapsed at the end of the league season.
Rushall had Jon Flatt in goal - a signing for next year perhaps

Just spotted Jay Denny at Villa’s end of season awards last night (not that I spend loads of time browsing the Villa woman’s Twitter account!)
Quick google search shows he’s a performance analyst at Villa with a UEFA ‘A’ licence

He's 38, y'know. A mere youngster in goalkeeping terms...

We’ll never be told the real reason. But it’s one of these:
1. He was a troublemaker (I’m not saying he was, but it’s always a possible with any player).
2. Stourbridge came in with a shed load of cash.
3. We wanted to save money and replace him with a step 5 player.
4. KMR didn’t think he was good enough (?)

It could be any of the top 3. I doubt KMR didn't think he was good enough - if he did then he shouldn't be in the job.

Hmmm, "Pride of Staffordshire", open to discussion (to be fair I think we too had it on some merchandise years ago), especially after today...

Great to see photos on Facebook of Michael Lennon and Danny Glover and their families at Wembley supporting play-off final wins for Sunderland and Port Vale recently. Another reminder that these guys and other NL players like them are real people like us.

I'd be busting a gut to get Clemmo back at Keys Park and he'd be brilliant for the younger players, come on guys show some intent.

How many did he play informally.
