I reckon we’ll be in the Extra Preliminary Round this season starting on 3rd August. Most clubs at our level were in that round last season but we weren’t as one of the higher placed clubs (higher as in we were in Step 3 the previous season).
It will also explain why we have no pre-season friendly arranged for that date. We’ll find out for sure two weeks today when the list of accepted clubs and exemptions are released.

Hopefully we can have both a good cup run in both FA Cup and Trophy which will bring in a lot of prize money

With the earliest of starts in both competitions it is a reminder of early exits and there are too many to recall. Let's hope this group of players gel as a team straight away. One day too we may have a youth team which enters the Youth Cup. Remember those cup runs especially Liverpool at home.

Not an ideal draw. A relatively tough opponent so we'll see how it goes.

I am happy with the draw because I have never been to Racing Club Warwick. I’ve also never been to Worcester Raiders either and I cannot make the friendly so they can win that game hopefully. It’s just a shame the Quorn game wasn’t away too!

Far trickier draw in the FA cup than we would have wanted but we will see where we are at from day one as we will have to be ready for that one but looking forward to it as ive never been to warwick and its one ive always fancied a visit too.ryan Andrews who was with us right at the start of last season I think is still with them.

Having now studied the FA draws in full it is interesting to note that after their very public disagreement over their groundshare last season. Bootle and City of Liverpool have been drawn against each other in both the FA Cup and the FA Trophy.
