Rumour doing the rounds last night was that a number of players have left the club this week and we won't see them again. I hope the club confirms the position as a number of names were mentioned

Gentleman I have been told by good authority the following:

A number of players have been told their game time opportunities with the club will be limited and as such they have been afforded the opportunity to look for other clubs, however their registration will be retained by ourselves.
Two players Will Mellors-Blair and Callum Niven have informed the club that due to work commitments and travelling they would find it difficult to train and play for the club. As such it is unlikely they will appear for us again.
Dan Griffiths who appeared in the Leek SSC game was a trialist offered to us by an agent but HH has decided not to follow up on him.
Hope this helps guys.

I've heard that the following won't be appearing again for us (but I could be wrong of course)

Sutton
Maye
Gwilt
Paddock
Brown

The squad is being thinned out and we need quality replacements in order to get out of this mess.

Are any of these mentioned more capable than the the current players in their positions, defence is woeful, midfield and attack are showing nothing , one or two of them have shown nothing to demonstrate that they deserve a shirt but a couple of others must be disappointed if they are surplus given the situation

Don't think it's fair to name names but in reference to Jacob Gwilt he got himself another club three or four days ago.

I'm sure Niven and Mellors-Blair feel the same

Because nobody knows if those players are on the list or not.
Personally I don't think it's fair as the club are not naming them.
Obviously you think different Lee, opinions.
