An interesting appointment for sure! I’m glad Hinksy has come in as well as he’s vastly knowledgeable and has some great links in the game.

Re: And the new manager is
Looks a good appointment that,
Did anyone else notice the wording of ades statement
"There is some positive news surrounding the future of the club which will be released at the appropriate time and these two are going to be a big part of what we do"
Especially after increasing the budget and saying about good commercial work too. Wondering if theres a new benefactor about to come too.
Plus the wording "we" do at the end looks like plans are starting to take place.
Feel this is a positive step forward.
As always UTP

Re: And the new manager is
Part of Hayden's statement made me chuckle!!...
"They both believe we can not only stay up but thrive, we have been able to increase the budget from where we started over the last few weeks thanks to a combination of our attendances as well as some superb commercial work so we were able to offer them a budget that they can achieve something with, not just for this season which has to be focused on getting safe in the short term but also in future seasons to come."
For fear of boring many readers, how many times have I posted about a Commercial Manager urgently being required to bring in revenue, only to be told it wasn't financially viable to have one blah-blah-blah.
Common sense finally prevailed then when along came Terry Brumpton. I rest my case!!

Good news - let's get behind him and not expect huge improvements overnight.
