What will you do on Saturday afternoons next season?
Interested to see what people will be doing next season. I'll be going to watch a variety of local step 4 and 5 teams.

I certainly wouldn’t be anywhere else other than at a football match at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. Normally I would be touring the local Non-League clubs like Perton but I have a freelance job in football and will be making myself available every Saturday for that where I haven’t done so before.

May well become a regular at Chasetown, either that or a bit of ground hopping

I speak from a position of breathtaking naivety, but with everything going on it would seem bonkers to leave the ground unused all season. You'd think somebody could use it but I guess it doesn't work like that.

haven't been for two years so I can't say I will miss it much, but it is still a sad day for grassroots football

A matter for the current owner. Our previous owners stated that they had to contend with very high running costs for the ground as well as, presumably, paying the current owner rent to use the facility. Unless the current owner is running a charity, I wouldn't hold your breath.bix_the_dog wrote: ↑Fri May 26 2023 11:06 am I speak from a position of breathtaking naivety, but with everything going on it would seem bonkers to leave the ground unused all season.
