I bumped into a bloke from Lye at the Tividale game (his lad plays for Lye) and he told me what the club's budget is. If the rumours about our budget are correct then Lye pay significantly less than we do. That said, they've kept the core of their squad together for some time now and I guess that helps rather than having a revolving door strategy.

I’m surprised. I thought it was nailed on that the two professional clubs would have avoided each other…
