Interesting to see Stalybridge v Avro has been moved from 1 January to Saturday 30 December. Personally I think this is sensible and one or two other clubs at our level have done the same. The Midland League has a full programme of games on December 30 and nothing on 1 January.

Rushall v Tamworth has been moved to 30 December too. I hope our match remains on 1 January.

To move to the thirtieth would be downright daft when both Wolves and Villa are at home on that date leave it on the first not much else on that date.
Villa have been a great club, are still a great club and always will be a great club.

A fickle lot the Cashtown fans. They bought 250 ish to our place and could only muster 150 at games staged at Boldmere. They like to turn out for an occasion.

Does make me think what the arrangements for the game on New Year's Day will be . If they all decide to come out again for our game then there may be a case for making it all ticket as you probably can't get more than 2500 in their ground.

It has been showing as that for many weeks. Stoke are at home the next day. Nobody goes to watch Hanley anyway so can't see the point of this. It might actually reduce the number of Hednesford fans travelling to the game as well.

I see our fixture at Hanley originally scheduled for Saturday 3rd February is now Friday 2nd February for some reason

Good news for us..
Trafford were very very poor! Offered nothing at all, how they went 8 games unbeaten is beyond me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Shows how poorly we played at their place for them to come away with 3 points

ANother surprise win for Newcastle takes them to 31 points and Nantwich won as well. Both must be feeling pretty comfortable now.

We missed loads of chances and a penalty. That explains that defeat!

The way things are going it’s between us and Trafford for the second relegation spot.
