Re: Needham Market (H)
Last 10 minutes were marred by the stewards and soon to be former owner having altercations with a section of youths behind the goal, not sure what kicked it off but not a good look to end the season with!

Re: Needham Market (H)
A great game ruined by gobshite children throwing chewing gum and food at fans and shouting sexist crap at the female physios and then refusing to leave when directed due to their behaviour! Some great performances today though against a tired needham. Every goal was a cracker and I think there are probably 4 or 5 I would keep on for next season in the league below!

Re: Needham Market (H)
The owner was right to ask the kids to leave. Sexist chants directed at female stewards and physios. The kids wouldn't leave and the police were called. They arrived as I left the ground and by then the kids had also gone as they were right behind me.
The game demonstrated what is wrong with non-league at times. Needham threw a side together with kids making their debuts and their top score at CB for the first half and RB for the second. It wasn't a contest, but credit to them for turning up having treked across country and giving it a go.
Graham looked very lively and it was good to see our lads put their usual shift in.
Now to look forward to a new season with a new owner and a team playing in step 4...

Re: Needham Market (H)
You can only beat what’s in front of you and the facts are that Needham Market started the game with 7 of the 11 who started their last league game against Basford (a match they were good enough to win 3-2) so let’s not try to diminish the achievement of Danny and the players last night. Our team is also full of kids apart from Glover, Graham and McQuilkin so I’m not sure what point is trying to be made as it’s not backed up with evidence.
Six games unbeaten at home with five clean sheets represents a good achievement for Danny and the players and we will hopefully finish in our highest league position of the season.
Excellent performances from Graham (where’s that been in the months preceding), Heard and McQuilkin and yet again a lot of effort, commitment and desire to win. As that was my last game of the season (and 29th out of 42) I’d like to thank the players for bringing some pride to the club in the final months of the season after the wasters we had earlier in the season.
