With Tamworth visiting next week, this has the feeling of a game that we have to win.

O-Yay, O-Yay
After failing miserably to make the last away game I am hopeful to make this one.
Quick M1 trip with my bell should see me arrive if I finish work on time.
Really hope to finally catch up with you mr Lee if you are going so you can see my bell! I might even let you ring it

Thank heavens for the home side.
Seems crazy that if Dave Chamberlain has other commitments (which he obviously will have) the club cannot organise someone else to cover him.
Once upon a time there was a lady appointed to assist with the media side - now it seems left just one person.

Thanks Dan.

A good job keeper Brooks was on form on Hitchin would have won all the points!

Possibly in the Southern League Midland Division when we sacked Paddy Page and had Jimmy Houston in charge. I seem to remember it took a dozen or so games before we won one.

More recently I do think when we got relegated from the Conference we were bottom of the league for most of the season.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Occupied bottom or finished in bottom place post October in the following seasons.

1973/74 Midland Counties League (finished bottom)
2000/01 The Football Conference (finished bottom)
2015/16 National League North (finished 21/22)

As far as I know we haven't occupied bottom place in a Southern League season.

Thanks as always for the stats Keith. We must've been close to being bottom at the beginning of October 2001 I guess, as the start to that first season back outside the Conference was pretty awful from memory.
