FA Cup 2020-21

Post by Glyn »

(I don't think we already have a thread for this, apologies if we do and no doubt the moderator could do the necessary...)

One of the BBC's usual condescending, but nonetheless informative and interesting articles...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53697652

A bit rough on Redhill, being slung out of the Cup just because one of their players has tested positive...

This is fine, chucking clubs out for a positive Covid Test, as long as it still applies when it reaches the Final...

Lots of "kicks from the penalty mark" - and numerous former opponents of ours out at the Extra Prelim stage...

Does it count as a hat-trick if the keeper dives over the first one...?

Another result from last night if you scroll down far enough (it's only "the biggest cup competition in the world" after all...)

OJM Black Country are playing home matches at Dudley Sports’ ground in Brierley Hill this season but I’ve no idea what the “issues” are.

It does, and with that in mind how disgraceful it is that the FA won’t give an exact time for its release. Do they think folk have got nothing better to do than to wait until they can be bothered to get their collective finger out?

Thanks Del, we don’t need to know where they play though as there won’t be a replay.

I quite fancied Hanley away, or any new local(ish) ground away :-(

By the way, shouldn't that be Cashtown v Cashford?
