Confirmed - Dave Challinor in at Stockport...

Lee tells me that Jeff Stelling was assuring the world in the NLP at the weekend that "he's going nowhere..."

Manager with experience. We are waiting for results from him! As always happens, any new manager brings his own innovations, so the next matches are expected to be more interesting and intense than the previous ones.

Odd goings on today with both Norwich and Middlesboro' dispensing with their managers after achieving good results. Presumably decisions were made some days ago and replacements lined up.

Indeed, Patrick Murphy on Five Live reckoned Boro have Wilder lined up...

More speculation about Dean Smith's future at AV (Pitmen aren't the only team who can throw away a two-goal lead with ten minutes to go, and that similar capitulation against WW was where the rot started) - I can only assume, in light of the above two job losses, that he's decided to lose all the rest of this season's games to ensure his job is safe...

 ;)

Add Smith to the list then.

One wonders how Man United have managed not to sack their manager whilst all of this has been going on.
