HTFC Official Website Changes

Post by Dobba »

As with the Forum and HTFCSA Website Changes topics, I'll keep you in the loop of any changes with the HTFCSA website in here.

01/02/2012
After a fair few months of designs and redesigns...and redesigns, plus a change of hosting company, it's finally launch day! Not only that, bar 10 minutes early this evening, both this and the new website seem to have lived to tell the tale.

With the release of the fixtures for the 2012/13 season the site has had the fixtures page updated along with the database that runs the "Next Up" section on the homepage.

18/07/12 (just!)

Player profiles for all the new signings have been added to the Squad page of the site, though they all currently look like a silhouette version of a recently departed central defender...

After noticing the number of hits that come from people who 'Like' news stories, I've added the functionality to all pages of the site.

With the launch of the 2012/13 kits I've updated the Shop page with a couple of new promos on the slider and thumbnails in the featured products section.

Quick one - can you check the setting on news stories? They don't seem to be feeding through to Facebook anymore.

After changing my Facebook password I got kicked off the admin list for the Hednesford Town Facebook page which is why it stopped sending new posts from the website to Facebook.

Hopefully that will now be sorted.

After a brief time away, the Commercial pages are back on the website having been brought up to date. To coincide with the relaunch of those pages I've finally got the 2012/13 Commercial brochure PDF uploaded to the website.
