Your link prompted me to look at forthcoming fixtures... local derbies on a Bank Holiday, what a great idea!

Some expert will no doubt know why they're playing the Number Nine Derby on the Tuesday rather than the Monday... maybe to reduce the likelihood of aggro....??

Liam Francis on the mark for Redditch. We'll assume.... (since trying to find details of their squad on their official website is impossible...)

Aha, the penny dropped as I drove past this morning.... because the opening round of BDCL cricket matches was postponed due to adverse weather (hard to belive now isn't it) they were rescheduled for Bank Holiday Monday. So Stourbridge 2nd X1 take precedence over SFC!

Last night's Number 9 Derby result and
https://www.evostikleaguesouthern.co.uk/Results
Again highlights the wisdom of playing local derbies over the holiday period, even if they have to be postponed by a day due to cricket - and then to a night when both Wolves and Baggies (Reserves) were in action

Nice local derby for Tamworth at St Neots last night

Well worth the trip for a 0-0 draw, I'm sure
The fixture planners in that league are clearly as daft as ours....

It was but remember Coleshill were promoted from the Midland League where their travelling would have been much less.

Halesowen management team leave after defeat to Barwell in midweek
Not really much of a surprise, considering their lowly place in the table relative to the money they were chucking around in the summer
