Great minds, I'd texted that to some pals before I'd seen your post!Perton Pitman wrote: ↑Sun May 15 2022 5:50 pm

NLN teams starting to release players:
Plenty of decent talent released - goalkeepers Russ Griffiths and Luke Simpson will be in much demand as both are very good step two performers.

Nathan Cameron played for us as a “Trialist” in one of our home pre-season friendlies last season. Despite the result he was excellent in Kiddy’s play-off defeat against Boston last week. He had to go off the field twice to be patched up after putting his head where it hurts.

Whatever you're referring to was posted in 2015, so I suspect it doesn't matter now!PitmanKeith wrote: ↑Tue May 31 2022 6:57 pmLink doesn't workGlyn wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05 2015 5:05 pm Salisbury...

And back to the NL PO Final...
Heard a Grimsby fan and comedian Lloyd Griffith on TS absolutely slaughtering the NL
https://twitter.com/lloydgriffith
His main complaint, apart from the obvious, is that they simply haven't communicated and/or given any explanation for the pricing. We'll see whether that stirs them to doing so.
He also pointed out that no seating behind the goals is available. Which in turn begs the question, if perchance Notts Co and Wrexham (the two best-supported clubs) had got through, would the London Stadium have been big enough?!

Willenhall Town have announced that they won't be playing next season, financial issues...
https://www.facebook.com/WillenhallTownFCOfficial
They're not officially folding but as one respondent says on the page to which I've linked below, they have no players, manager or clubhouse...

All very sad...

The administrators have come up trumps now, scheduling the Liverpool v Man City Community Shield for Leicester as they can't have Wembley on the date in question (it's needed for the Women's Euro 2022 Final the next day, and of course Wembley's pitch couldn't cope with two games in two days... [unless they're EFL play-offs... or the FA Vase and FA Trophy Finals on the same day!]).
I'd have thought the London Stadium would have been a far more suitable venue for that...

If it was Marston Road significant improvement would have been the order of the day

Yes, some of us remember the entirety of the other Gascoigne's career there!
