Leek's pitch to be improved (isn't this old news?)

You could have improved it over the past several years by ploughing it properly

Re: Non-League News
Watched the FGR v BR game last night and have to say it was disappointing to say the least!
It needed someone, anyone, to put their foot on the ball and look up - instead 90% of the game consisted of endless first time long balls from one end to the other, with the other 10% consisting of aimless head tennis from one side to the other!!
One good goal and a red card for BR - and that was it. The FGR fans were very quiet, mostly trying to tell the ref that he wasn't fit to oversee a football match ... or aiming pie jokes at their striker Jon Parkin who looked like he had just returned from a pie-eating competition with Louis Briscoe!!
Maybe a better game tonight?

Bedworth and Stratford both win play-off finals to give Leamington some company in the Southern Premier (if that's where they'll end up, I can't be arsed to do the maths).
We’re on our way, we’re on our way, to the EFL, we’re on our way (26/01/24)

Tranmere appoint Gary Brabin
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/32589905
A tad confusing since he left Southport for his "dream job" at Everton, but he explains his reasons... and I think we can safely assume he wasn't about to be offered the manager's job at either of the other two "famous old Merseyside clubs"...

That Steven (Head of Communications) was aptly named wasn't he.
I'd be happy to sponsor their principles, but I don't know about being their principal sponsor....

Wembley have stopped selling tickets for the neutral areas for the Trophy Final, even though the participant clubs both have tickets to sell
