Shelton Payne retires at the age of 26

What a shame, he was "scoring for fun" in that season when we went up to Trafford

The Midland Football League welcomes Hereford, as I'm sure the Conference did when they came to Keys Park with their "On loan to the Conference for one season only" t-shirts on

so far they've played 3 games and have won one and lost 2. they may see the league as a bit tinpot, but they must respect it and the member clubs

Their explanation for a somewhat disappointing start is that they've assembled a new squad of players and so it will take time to gel....

I've often wondered, and I still do, how Romulus manage to keep going at this level, but this is a great story:

About turn. Pressley not coming after all, Whild moves upstairs, Flowers is Head Coach and Creighton's career will be advanced by being sacked

I wonder how Aspin getting binned off affects Osborne's eventual transfer there? What if the new man doesn't fancy him and wants to spend the money elsewhere? Would the shady figure of Mr. Smith come in for him with a fistful of £££ at Telnesford? Or will he carry on turning in his world-beating performances for Redditch? More questions than answers

Whild leaves Kidder (possibly/probably)

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/top-stori ... parts.html

(I'm not really sure they can include Chey Dunkley in the list of talent he "unearthed", I could have told you he was destined for League football from his very early days in the white shirt...)
