Re: Football Humour Videos
This is a good one - Barbados were leading Grenada 2-1, with goals in extra time counting for double. Barbados needed to score 2 goals to win the game so as they were only winning by one, was going to lose the game. (Don't ask but those were the rules!).
So they scored an own goal with a few minutes left, and then defended BOTH goals to get the game to extra time, which they scored and won!

EAT MY GOAL!! - a very young Alan Partridge.....
(we apologise if some of the language offends some viewers... )
(In looking for that, I almost found Alan's commentary on Darren Ambrose's wonder goal at OT last week, but it's had to be taken down because the Football League have claimed copyright - the muppets have no sense of humour! )

Passing the ball into the net....
Here's how it's done. Excellent movement to lose the defenders, thus ideally situated to round off good approach play. And note the value of the 4th/5th official, playing a vital part in the decision....

From Brazil, home of the Beautiful Game and host to the next World Cup where Fair Play will no doubt be top of the agenda...
Last minute, away team in red winning 1-0, home team in green has a corner so their keeper goes up for it
The ref awarded a drop-ball, the team in green contested it and the team in red didn't score!
Who'd be a ref eh?

I can think of some refs I'd have loved to....
(not that I condone disrespect to officials, of course.....)

This is described as "The Worst goal-kick ever taken"
Problem is it isn't a goal-kick!

Sometimes the truth is funnier than fiction - Goole v Coalville, a player is sent off and reacts...

I'm hearing that the Goole captain has now been sacked. There's also a rambling thread on the NPL Facebook page about "Goole Ultra" (for pity's sake) fans defending their actions and a photographer being threatened and he in turn making accusations about fans' behaviour. Ah, peaceful friendly Non League footballGlyn wrote:Sometimes the truth is funnier than fiction - Goole v Coalville, a player is sent off and reacts...

If the Coalville fans were signing at him, I think we need to know how many fingers they were using before we judge...
