Sadly Steve Burr, a fine manager, has suffered relegation with Chester. Another big club in Conf North next season. Promises to be a competitive division

Asst Manager of Rotherham Utd. Paul Raynor. in the Championship next season following their penalty shoot out win over Leyton Orient.

Just knew we should have given him more than 12 games

Although Paul Raynor is the assistant I can't see him getting any ideas through that Steve Evans doesn't agree with. Whatever people say about Evans his record as a manager is fantastic.

Raynor - a marked man in Torbay!!

(I know he is no longer with Crawley Town, but the reasons are the same!)

Raynor and everyone's favourite manager leave Rotherham

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34380186

I first heard this reported as "have left", but that reads "sacked" to me.

Wonder where they'll turn up next...

Oh my word.....

Leeds aren't very popular with anyone outside Leeds but we'd have to admit they've had some great managers down the years. How standards have fallen...

:(

As a pics fan this came totally out of left field.

Don't know much about Bernard other than his links to the baggies and yourselves.

Our chairman is a lovely guy and such a passionate man on the sidelines. It's funny cos he just thought you know I can do better than these 2 clowns lol

He had managed us before holleran was gaffer before Kitching. He isn't a complete amateur.

Not gonna be dull that's for sure. Just hope we can improve the squad and have a drama free pre season.

Bernie is a lovely bloke and given the time with his own squad will be a great coach. Unfortunately last season he inherited a squad of thin gruel and wasn't given the time or investment to create his own squad. He was then sacked as a result of Frank's intervention in becoming manager which in turn lead to our relegation. Rushall were strong opposition when we were last in this league and would expect the same next season. All the best.

Johnny Allen was Manager of our reserve team when we had a reserve team and later was assistant Manager to John Baldwin so no he's certainly no amateur ;) Also I saw on twitter that Kris Taylor has left you to go to Strangers, I think in some sort of coaching capacity.

Yeah tayls and long serving mitch tolley apparently have departed. Don't think it'll be the last of the departures. A long season ahead methinks.

Old Assistant Manager watch - Matt Elliott is one of an eclectic list of names involved in a new coaching venture launched at SGP today:

I smiled wryly at Neville Southall saying that one of the elements is "diet and fitness" ....

It's a crowd-funding venture so you can help them out if you feel so inclined....

Not sure that is entirely factually correct, though it's nice that he has good things to say about our Chairman and Secretary...

Frank Sinclair is a ****** to football both on and off the pitch. Last season will go down as the worst in our history. The only job he deserves in football is the Stafford Rangers job.

* Mods note - not inclined to like that word!
