The answer is an emphatic no, in fact we are not even that close at the moment.

2007/08 under Starbuck we used 62 players.

This season under a succession of managers we have used 49, still some way to go.
Here's (unofficially but this site is usually pretty accurate!) that 2007-8 squad list:

Some remarkable names on there (and of course "Ben Harbutt" became Ben Bailey...)

When did we last win ten on the bounce?

(Or am I being greedy....?)
... or indeed two...

Campion's stats since he returned, P3 W2 D1, missed 2 which we lost.

Edging ever closer to the Phil Starbuck 2007/08 record of 62 players named in a season.

We are now on 57.

Congratulations to Tom Thorley who made his 150th appearance in a Hednesford Town shirt in the game against Matlock yesterday.
Tom started his Hednesford career with the game against Colwyn Bay (away) on 5/11/2013 in the Conference North. He has also scored 13 goals during his time with Town.

Well done Tom, a true clubman.

presumably all that have been registered to date have played so there is no scope for additions?

Here you go I've given you the last six, in order of merit.

Rob Smith 270 151 47 72 - 56% win rate
Liam McDonald 23 12 5 6 - 52% win rate
Gary Birch 16 6 2 8 - 37% win rate
Paul Casey 14 4 1 9 - 28% win rate
Frank Sinclair 25 5 8 12 - 20% win rate
Bernard McNally 16 3 5 8 - 19% win rate

Stats are for all games.

One thing it does show is the limited shelf life of your average manager!

Congratulations to Danny Glover who following his sub appearance against Halesowen Town chalked up his 100th appearance for Hednesford Town.
Danny made his Pitmen debut on 22/03/2014 at Keys Park v Workington in a 4-0 victory, he didn't find the net that day but has since gone on to score 31 goals.

Full Record

Starts 82, Sub On 18, Sub Unused 10, Goals 31

Well done Danny.

Last nights victory also ended a run of 10 consecutive league games without a win, the last one being the 1-0 triumph at Mickleover on 01/04/2017.

Whilst I am a Danny G fan, if you took out the penalties and free-kicks, there wouldn't be many goals left. But as I've said before, Danny shouldn't be relied upon to score 20 goals a season, he doesn't do that partly because most of his good work is in the build-up to goals.

Since the days of Durrell, Harvey and Rey I don't imagine we've had a more prolific scorer.

Maybe we should make that the Official Statmeister's next piece of homework...
