It would be interesting to see the stats from his 1st spell compared to those from his 2nd.

Congratulations to Charlie Gatter who made his 50th appearance for The Pitmen in yesterdays defeat at Scarborough.

Gatts made his debut, originally on loan from Gainsborough Trinity, on 11/11/2017 in the 1-1 draw with Cleethorpes at Keys Park in an F A Trophy 2nd Qual.Round game. That debut was made at right back but he very quickly made one of the centre back slots his own.

His full stats are:

A total of SEVEN goalkeepers have now been used during the current campaign, certainly a Club record in the years I've been keeping stats.

In order of appearance they are;

Jo Bursik
Dan Eccles
Jono Brown
Jose Veiga
Sheridan Martinez
Mate Deczki
Kieran Preston.

With 3 different managers it's obvious that there will be a large number of players used. Starbuck's record doesn't deserve to be broken as he was the only manager that season.

Jones and Sangha on as subs yesterday made it 54 this season.

Starbuck record is 62 in 2007/08.

A new club record was set on Saturday against Matlock Town when Jake Weaver, Bradley Wells and Andre Wright became the 62nd, 63rd and 64th players to be named in a Hednesford matchday squad this season.
This now beats the 62 used by manager Phil Starbuck in season 2007/08.

Admittedly this has been achieved with three different Managers and I would imagine it highly unlikely
that the record of Phil, as a single Manager, would ever be broken.

If selected today Sam Griffiths makes his 50th appearance for the Pitmen.
Also Reece King recently made his 100th appearance v Stratford on 21/12/2019 ( this is a correction to the post I made on FB stating it was the Chester City away game four days earlier).
Congratulations to both players.
