Rob Smith is fast approaching his 300th game in charge as Hednesford manager.
It should happen in the next couple of weeks, more details to follow nearer the milestone.

Congratulations to skipper Tom Thorley who completed his 200th game in Hednesford colours at Buxton yesterday afternoon.

Tom started his Hednesford career with the game against Colwyn Bay (away) on 5/11/2013 in the Conference North. He has also scored 16 goals during his time with Town.

Well done Tom.

Congratulations to Danny Glover who, with his opener last night, reached the 50 goal mark in a Hednesford shirt. Danny averages one goal every three games from his 146 appearances for the Pitmen.
He has now scored 21 goals from 50 appearances this season which makes it his most prolific, beating his previous best of 13 from 37 appearances last season.

Well done Danny.

Adama Traore has the top six "dribbles in a Championship game this season" - someone presumably gets paid (*) to compile stats like this....

Congratulations to Callam Mendez-Jones who, when coming on as substitute versus South Shields, made his 50th appearance for the Pitmen.
Callam joined the club in November 2017 and made his debut in the Integro League Cup Round 2 game against Newcastle Town at Keys Park on 28/11/2017.

He is currently the second highest appearance maker at the club.

His full Hednesford record is as follows:

50 apps 46 starts 4 sub 1 goal

Well done Callam

Another 50 up could happen on Tuesday against Lancaster, watch this space.

A few people have been asking me if this is the longest run of games without a draw for the football club.

Well the current run is now standing at 21 games, our last draw being the 1-1 result at Keys Park against Rushall Olympic on 19/04/2018.

However we still have a long way to go to beat the record set in 2010/11 season when we went 31 consecutive games without a draw. After drawing 1-1 at Oxford City on 09/10/2010 our next draw took place at Keys Park against Didcot Town on 29/03/2011.
It was actually 32 games as we lost 2-3 at Windsor & Eton during that spell but they folded soon after and that game was expunged from all records.

Many apologies for my lateness with this but Reece King did in fact make his 50th appearance versus Lancaster City.

Kingy made his debut on 26/09/2017 in the 3-0 defeat to Altrincham at Keys Park.
His full record is as follows:

36 Starts 14 Sub apps 5 Goals

Well done Reece.

Congratulations to Matt Curley who made his 50th appearance for Hednesford this evening.
Matt signed from Tamworth in November last year and made his debut in the 2-1 win versus Stalybridge Celtic at Keys Park on 18/11/2017.
All his appearances have been as starts and he has yet to open his goalscoring account.
