Mind you, Peterborough was for an FA Sunday Cup Final, Wimbledon was to see a Kingstonian game nearly 30 years ago, Forest was for an England U19 match in the early 90s, and there are a few more like that too. The only ones I've added in recent years have been thanks to our Cup runs - Plymouth, Stevenage and Wycombe. I've lost more than I've gained through clubs relocating.

Only ever been to one Premier League game, and I'm proud to say I've never paid to watch one. I got a freebie at the Hawthorns for a game v Sunderland, and it wasn't even worth paying nothing to watch. Neither team had a shot and Sunderland won 1-0 with an og. And they say it's the best League in the World...
I had a freebie at The Hawthorns once (indeed I had two tickets as of the preceding day but couldn't find any fool, erm, anyone to join me...)

0-0 v Portsmouth

This would have been before football was invented in 1992 but yes, we can both vouch for what a let-down "top-tier football" can be

How on earth regular followers justify the obscene amounts of money and time they spend on it (plus having kick-off times at any time and on any day of the week) is beyond me... it were 2/6d in at Villa Park when I were a lad.... ;) :-D

253 up with FCUM, I may do Curzon Ashton (another trip up the A34/A50!) but I think that would be my last new one this season, unless I do any local "neutral" groundhopping

Don't think I'm going to catch Tony Incenzo who told us in the Flyde programme that Broadhurst Park was his 2000th, having done "the 92" by the time he was 17.

Anorak!

As I indicated pre-match, Kettering's temporary home was my 258th ground, by my rules where you have to have paid to get in to watch a legitimate game...

But this guy's showing off again!

Did the old White Hart Lane. Doubt if I'll be doing the new one...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47687411

Fascinating to hear Premier League regulars on the radio earlier (getting very excited about "glasses which fill from the bottom", watch the footage) and saying that the prices are reasonable, see the link for beer prices (comparable with local pubs, apparently) and a bottle of water will cost you £2.

Moose on TalkSPORT says "players won't need to worry about coins being thrown at them as the stadium is cashless."

So does that mean you're not allowed in with coins then?

And if so, having nipped to a nearby shop and bought a Kit Kat for 70p, what do you do with the 30p change?

The on-site brewery is run by Beavertown who were founded by Robert Plant's son Logan back in 2011. They recently sold a stake in the business to Heineken.

Indeed; a positive move.

Yesterday on TS Coisty was saying he'd been to a "Stiff Little Fingers" gig somewhere in London with Stuart Pearce and a can of San Miguel was £6.05 (you'd think they'd at least round it down to six quid... or indeed just knock off the £6.05 to reflect its true worth... )

Suddenly makes those WHL prices look very reasonable...

And here's another one to visit in due course....

http://nonleaguedaily.com/gloucester-ci ... xt-season/

Their league can hardly refuse them permission to change grounds midway through a season, after the precedent set by Tottenham, can they...

Last night I took in a game at Estadi Montilivi in Girona. The home side are on a poor run and went down1-0 to relegation rivals Villarreal. (crows) 11535

The ground is a concrete bowl and the capacity has been increased to almost 14000 with temporary stands on all four sides. Luckily it was beautiful weather as there is no cover apart from the main stand.

An old picture I think. They have added a third tier behind the goals and opposite the main stand.

I've just added a couple that I'd forgot in Wales.

Hednesford played Gedling Town in the FA Cup first qualifying round in 2006. We drew at home then lost the replay. The club has folded now hasn't it? I don't know if anyone else plays at that ground now.

I was disappointed to miss Basford last season when I was on holiday and I'm hoping to at least add Barwell and Stratford Town (new) to the list this season.
