RIP Cliff Morgan

Great man. And a great broadcaster, whose Saturday (or was it Sunday, my brain hurts) morning shows before 24-hour sport broadcasting came upon us would put today's presenters to shame

RIP Sir David Frost.

In my previous (working) life, I actually got to meet the man, and (in order for him to identify himself to me) got him to say 'Hello, good evening and welcome' to me.

Nice man.

I'm seriously concerned and wondering if "Over 65" is RIP - we haven't heard from him since early September

Is there anybody there?

Only just found out that Monte Fresco died last Friday. (Someone else's death must have overshadowed it)

RIP the 2 train driver victims of 'The Great Train Robbery', who died a long time ago.
Highlighted by the death of Ronnie Biggs.
May Biggs rot in hell. At least us taxpayers no longer have to foot the bill for his Care Home fees.

Good point - but certainly the end of an era for folk of my/our age.

Say the "Great Train Robbery" to a kid today ... and they will ask if it for Playstation or Xbox!!

Ouch.

I've never seen Star Wars, I've seen about ten minutes of OFAH, ditto of "Vicar of Dibley" - am I unique?

(Don't answer that ;) )

But RIP anyway, I'm sure he was a very nice man
