Fascinating.

Even in the land of so-called "pub leagues" they've been able to decide promotion and relegation based on on-field performance rather than just declaring the season null and void...

I very much doubt it! :evil:
Torquay or Plymouth or Exeter to Barrow has always been the longest trip in the league!

Torquay or Plymouth or Exeter to Barrow has always been the longest trip in the league!
I doubt it, since he lives in or near London, but he has no problem travelling to the North West. Independence for Devon and Cornwall is the only answer, then you can play among yourselves...
