...perhaps indicative of the financial constraints that we are under at present. I daresay that there are lads out there kicking their heels and they are prepared to run up and down the touchline in the absence of anything else

Once Hurst, Diggin and Sullivan are back from injury our squad strength will be back up to what it should be.
In the meantime Rob has indicated in the weekend preview (see today's previews/reviews thread) that we may see new faces

Agreed. We only want to see players here with 100% commitment, not just passing through.

I am disappointed that there has not been any official confirmation, from any personnel at the club regarding the departure of, Sam Griffiths, to Stafford Rangers and Lewis Taylor-Boyce, to Tividale (he scored yesterday) I was wondering what the reason was behind this?
Thank you in advance

I second that Guesty, the communication from the club on this is pretty poor, quick to report on 'signings' (I use that word loosely). According to Tividale's site he signed in July

At the Meet the Manager event we were told that both players are still registered with Hednesford but are out on loan.

Chey Dunkley red card for Kidder v Chester
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28831528
("Great save" according to some of their fans on his Facebook page!!
)
No sign of Dis in the Chester squad, though Riles got 12 minutes on the pitch

No sign of Dis in the Chester squad,

….and more importantly (for him at least), he got a goal.

I didn't realise Jay Denny had spent time as a lumberjack since leaving Keys Park.

"From hero to zero", to quote the big man, but the fans seem to love him, unsurprisingly

Yes, I spotted that. In that regard then they are like the rest of the media, until the FA Cup early rounds take place when suddenly they all become both very keen and (think they're) experts on non-league football

As it says the loan window opens next week (which makes the transfer window a farce as regards League clubs, I know one club which narrowly escaped relegation last season with five loanees in their squad) so no doubt he'll be on his way then.
Have to admit I'd completely missed his spell at Bristol City!
