Various ex-Pitmen in this list (we'll assume that "Garry Hay" is Gary Hay)

Goole are now signing players just by Christian name then...

Mark Bellingham is off the mark already scoring in Hinckley AFC's first ever league game, a 3-0 win at Southam United in Midland Football League Division One.

Could be on a few threads this but this will do...

Steve Burr interviewed on talkSPORT, says that Chester brought in four players just after last season on the basis that they'd be in Conf North.

Chester have now switched from training Tuesday and Thursday nights to Monday/Tuesday/Thursday mornings - yet they're not full-time.... their players must have very understanding employers.

They're 40/1 to win the Conference. Yogi suggests "save your money!"

...so training three mornings a week constitues 'full-time'! I'll tell my gaffer at work

No, they're not full-time, re-read my post.

But that's Yogi's attempt to get more time with his players training to compete with the majority of Conf Prem clubs who are full-time.

That said, (and off on one of my tangents) a well-known Scottish Radio 2 DJ is taking two weeks off after two weeks working a 15-hour week in Glasgow. It's a hard life....

The wise money is still on him eventually joining Harvs at Witton, or wherever they both may end up!

I wish we still had them both, proven goal scorers.

Harv struggled with his fitness after Christmas and only showed fleeting glimpses of what he is capable of. Rey just looked a little out of his depth and I think we have improved the squad since they left

Josh Craddock (I think he's still with Pics? most of our ex-players are) is likely to be joining the Army soon.

A loss to the local non-league scene but good luck to him

Pitmen old boys to the fore for Kiddy tonight. We could certainly do with Johnson and Chey at present!

Mark Bellingham scored 4 goals on Saturday in Hinckley's 13-0 win over Pelsall Villa. This was after a 6-1 defeat to Uttoxeter Town.

Joey Butlin played for Walsall Wood today in their FA Cup win against Heath Hayes. Does he count as an old player?

Don't think he set a competitive foot on the field for HTFC did he, so the judges will probably rule not.

But good spot anyway.

Elsewhere Lee tells me that Lenny scored the winner for Norton Utd despite being at V Festival according to Facebook. A man of many talents

Bohan Dixon to Northwich Vics

http://www.evostikleague.co.uk/saturday ... n=football

His flirtation with League Football was brief

A few more ex-HTFC lads in that list; and yes that reall is Danny Webber who's joined Salford City.

They're trying the "recruit lots of big names" approach, and as we know that always works...

Meanwhile Jordan Cranston (another not-really-an-ex-HTFC player) did enough running up and down the touchline last Saturday to earn a permanent deal with Conf Prem Nuneaton

We seem to have trouble keeping hold of these new "signings".
