Re: Clubs in crisis
The new ten man/woman consortium will be named tomorrow at a press conference - I guess the new manager will also be named too.
Be very interesting who is prepared to take the job with a lesser wage than Hargreaves was on, plus a vastly reduced squad budget.
Paul Cox seems to be in the frame, along with another HTFC ex ... Matt Elliott!!

Re: Clubs in crisis
Seems like pie-man Briscoe could be on his way back up north, according to assorted rumours anyway.
Meanwhile - hard talk from the new Director of Football, Mr Edwards!

Re: Clubs in crisis
I can't think why they wanted I new stand.
I was there two years ago to see Walsall play Coventry and all of the stands were modern and not in need of replacing.
The whole persona of the ground was really good except there were only fifteen hundred there of which five hundred were Walsall supporters.

Couldn't agree more, I was there about eight years ago when the ground was still considered new, far too early to think about replacing or enlarging stands, unless there are circumstances we don't know about (and I don't have time to google!)jackiemaund wrote:I can't think why they wanted I new stand.

Re: Clubs in crisis
blatant scaremongering on the part of Truro. they've survived far worse and been given a leg up by the authorities to boot. I'm sure the club will survive even if it has to drop down a league or two and ground share in the process
