Seems some money being thrown around at Airbus. They were after the Leek forward McCarthy last week and made a 4 figure bid for him.

Notice that Adam McGurk scored for Tranmere at the weekend

Good spot Del, it's a joy to watch Tyrone's progress.

Will be fascinating to see where he goes next, whether it's tonight or in the summer - I think I heard that Tubbs has gone from Crawley to Bournemouth, so I imagine Crawley will be wanting to keep him until the end of the season - they don't need the money, do they?

Don't know where Bournemouth got 800 grand from. Not so long ago they were in a financial mess

It seems that Crawley have taken a liking to our former strikers!

Funny. I thought that last week Strangers were expecting him to turn down the approach.

As I say.... funny....

Amazing - I was all tense as I clicked on the link - would it be Styche? Dyer? Patterson?

But no, Hawley, who didn't impress everyone in his spell at HTFC.

But then again Ashley Williams didn't either...

Hawley was given very little time on the pitch to impress, which at the time did annoy me a bit (I did post this at the time so it must be in an archive somewhere). At the time we had Danks up front with a largely ineffective Steve ANthrobus

Newtown have signed Andy Jones "who Bernard McNally knows from his time managing Hednesford United"

http://www.welsh-premier.com/index.php/ ... or-mcnally

Now, a) I don't remember Andy Jones (but my memory isn't perfect) and b) this is the third time in 8 days we've been referred to as " Hednesford United" - has something happened about which I've not been told???

I'll leave it a day or so before I alert the welsh-prem.com webmaster!!

Glyn,

if my memory serves me right I think he came pre season 2010-11 but never actually played a competitive match. Centre Half.

I hear Liam Francis is turning out for Romulus. Can't substantiate at this point, but if true I am a bit surprised

Just had a look on the Romulus website and he played in their last game against Market Drayton.
