Have your say on all matters Pitmen.

I can see why they're scratching their heads... there are two apostrophes missing in that PR

So those 7 players are on an average of £42,850 a year then?!
As I've said to you, I can come up with the £00k if you can manage the 5.....Del wrote:Following on from the last posting about saving money .... I understand that the asking price for TUFC is around £500k

He's going to bring a couple of players in and move five or six out?
That'll sort it...
From Bucks Chat:
Watson's style of play does nothing to attract supporters, together with:
his poor decision to retain players who were in and out of the Conf North team, to play at Prem level;
the continual recruitment of ex-Scouseport mates;
his regular slagging off of named players on the radio;
the lack of urgent activity before the end of the transfer window.
What a shambles.
The only reason he is still with us is surely that we cannot afford to sack him
See, some clubs' fans don't like their manager, even after he's led them to promotion!

Yeovil Town have supposedly denied anything like this would happen there!

That is a crying shame - and seemingly far more to do with the Co-op bank moving the goalposts than the club not being well-run... LCFC were featured in the excellent book "Matchday" * fairly soon after the Supporters Trust played a major part in restructuring the club and its finances and keeping it alive, they did and were doing a great job and I've no reason to suppose that that's changed.
