Steve Burr approached by Forest Green Rovers. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24772481

Kiddy forum is in meltdown, worth a read.

He was 1/3 fav with one firm of bookies a few days ago, maybe someone had inside knowledge!

Unless the wage increase is substantial that would be a strange move for Yogi.

Does Kyle Perry count as an "old player"?

He didn't give anybody anything to watch yesterday ;-)

If he's the same size as the last time I saw him play he counts as 3.

They've changed it, there again they could do with changing a few other things, like 'midfield maestro', 'midfield industry' and 'trickery'.

Just hope that doesn't come back to haunt us when we go to the Breaks, erm, Brakes...

I think that the move to FGR would be, in the medium term, bad for Burry. I can't imagine that the FGR chariman would have supported him in the same manner that Kiddy did after the dreadful start that they had last year.

History has shown that millionaire chairman don't have too much patience if their team has a dodgy run of results

I personally believe that Burry could do a job in the football league now and I'm surprised that nobody has given him a break

Same as signing players from non-league, so many of them are far too "careful" - hence they put people like Edgar Davids in charge instead, with amazing results.

That said, a fellow HTFC fan pointed out to me the other day how many of our ex-players who've made it to Football League level are crocked - Styche, Dyer, Clements to name but three - I think that's just coincidence rather than that they can't hack full-time training....

I know John Winwood watches us every week and a few games ago he had Vic Sharrard and John 'Mushy' Davies with him.
On Saturday I also saw Stuart Lake and Steve Essex at the game.
Do any other ex-players come and see us play?
