Also the night I broke the land-speed record running from near the exit to back behind the goal.

I'm sure Scott tweeted to that effect during the season

He's signed for Lincoln City now (Bohan Dixon not Scott).
He must have had nearly as many Clubs as Brendan Hackett ;)

Who has Scott signed for then? Come on, don't tease like some others like to do.
8-)

Dixon appears to be one of these blokes who doesn't get much match-time then moves on.. At least Hackett was often seen on the pitch

Ash Williams made team captain at Swansea - an indication he will be staying?

Under-statement of the year

http://www.nonleaguedaily.com/news/inde ... &nid=95215

Staggering number of clubs for one so young

And he's now a "midfielder who can operate in attack"

Ah well, we'll see - he may have played only a bit part for us, but he did frighten Strangers to death...

Three or four HTFC Old boys in this list

(I'd missed "Sam Craven to Ilkeston" - decent move for him)

Anyone know who Scott Meer is?

Twitter reports that Adam McGurk is having trials with B*rm*ngh*m C*ty

I'm praying for his soul...

Scott Meer was one if last years talented Under 21 side.

He signed for Chasetown along with Jack Arrowsmith, Alex Morris and Asa Wright (who may be there on loan I believe). Another former U21, Jack Lewis, is also on trial there

All 5 lads played in Chasetown's game against Heath Hayes earlier this week. All did well with Alex Morris particularly impressing, playing the full 90 minutes and scoring

Another former U21, Jordan Fincher, has joined Romulus and has been featuring regularly in their pre-season games

Thanks Mike

A shame that, if my sources are correct, we're not running the u-21 side next season to build on the fine work which was done last term

In other news I hear that Leon McSweeney is having trials with Tranmere - so ironically he could take Adam McGurk's place...

"lively" would sum him up, no problem with that. But as for the ability to pick a final pass or score a goal from midfield, that might be stretching it

Conwy aren't the toughest opposition for a PSF, weaker even than most we've come up against so far.

Amazed to find Telport have only 16 signed up, I'd have thought it was nearer 30 by now, but presumably all the "Tel" players (apart from Youngy) have been shipped out, leaving just the "port" ones??

Gone to the (HTFC) Old Folks' Home

Reliable source told me that Rico Taylor* started for them (was with our u-21s last season) and Zak Martin was on the bench alongside Sean

* He's just tweeted "Legs are gone" - cracking way to start pre-season!!

He could be just what we need, a physical presence up top. Something different than what we have.

He looked decent to be fair in the short time I saw him.
