Our resident statmeister has drawn Bello's season stats to my attention:

http://full-time.thefa.com/StatLeaders. ... ue=3244788

Interesting!

And there's another ex-Pitman high up in those rankings too, I think, wasn't Stuart Ellis one of the tribe which Simon Line brought with him from MDT??

I know the name Dreniz Bala too, but someone will have to remind me from where...

There's a chance this is he then....

Slightly less prolific, but then again you don't score too many from right back...

And look at the number of ex-Pitmen there too

Marco Adaggio? He's tumbled down the levels since the 'glory' days at Strangers

A propos of nothing, just looking for Stockport County on Twitter, and I find this lady bemoaning the fact that, for £100k, they waived their right to a sell-on clause for Ashley Williams when they sold him onto Swansea (as Laudrup says he might consider selling him, thus the likelihood of him moving onwards and upwards grows...)

And who'd have ever thought they'd be heading for the ground where he also used to ply his trade...

Might be old news, but Stockport are reverting to part-time status next season

Pele signs contract at Havant

And another football manager thinks the top flight of English football is called "the Premiership" (although, to be fair, it might have been when Pele played in it!)

The race is now on between Ross, Chris Clements and Louis Briscoe as to who becomes the next player added to the list of those who have gone from Keys Park into the Football League. Currently on 102.

Nah, some of the early ones never played at Keys Park

Sounds like a cue for a quiz to see how many we can name - without cheating!!!!

Off the top of my head:-

Vernon Allatt
Steve Biggins
Keith Russell
Nobby Horton
Ash Williams
Brinner
Adam McGurk
Leon McSweeney
Sean O'Connor (does the SPL count?)
Ross Draper
Tyrone Barnett

..I'll add to this list later!

Yep all those are on there Perton. We plan to have a lot of the players who you would have perhaps seen in the programme over the last two seasons uploaded to the official website at some point over the summer.

And yes Glyn you are correct :-D

Dave Hanson
Jimmy Rodwell (I may be wrong on that one, but he did play for R&D, but maybe only in the Conference)

First one correct, second one not so. I could just upload the list but where is the fun in that ;)

We really should have diverted this list to another thread.... but it's too late now (or rather I don't have time to split the thread....)

I reckon Dave Shaw could name all of them.... and meanwhile, my brain hurts.... ah, just got him.... Karl Hawley....

Old man Dickinson turns up at Northwich

Oh, adding to the ex-players done good in the football league, I'd add Boca Freeman to that list (Cheltenham)

Ash (allegedly) wants to move to Arsenal

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/gossip/

I think I heard in the week that the Gooners had offered about half what the Swans want for him...
