I bumped into a bloke from Lye at the Tividale game (his lad plays for Lye) and he told me what the club's budget is. If the rumours about our budget are correct then Lye pay significantly less than we do. That said, they've kept the core of their squad together for some time now and I guess that helps rather than having a revolving door strategy.

Looks like they put a strong side out, Rico Richards played who was a semi regular in a Stockport side that won League 2 this season
