Sadly bro and I have a memory of that game which also involves the BBC and also spoiled it - previous day, Radio WM giving us and two other local clubs the big build-up, Rob Smith was on (as were the other two managers) so they had him guessing the colour of a balloon to decide whether we'd win or not. Utter nonsense!
On a brighter note I do remember listening to the delightful Richie Anderson doing his vox pop at the back of the Heath Hayes end from about 1pm, "what's yer name where yer from?"
I wonder what ever happened to him...
