Batchelor's had more clubs than Tiger Woods. Hated watching him play for us he was rubbish.

Now with Cefn Druids, and scored the only goal of the game in their (shock?) win over Barry Town United at the weekend... (00.16)

Graham's (penalty) goal on 1.38.

Hard to see how playing games at places like that can possibly prepare players for first team football in proper grounds....

Dan Sweeney's loan adventure continues

12 loans (Hednesford x 2, Leamington, Bradford PA, Halesowen x 2, Stourport x 2, Redditch, Rushall, Sutton Coldfield and Gloucester) so far as well as permanent spells at three other clubs. Undoubtedly talented player, but that many clubs at 21 years-old suggests a problem with discipline/attitude, which we saw in patches at KP last term

Graham Lancashire steps up from assistant to take over at Lancaster whilst their manager takes a break on health grounds:

What a cracking striker he was. Lancashire, la la la, Lancashire, la la la.

I don’t remember either, but then we’ve had a fair few strikers come and go over the years without leaving a lasting impression.

I think he was in the Hull team when we knocked them out of the cup with a very dodgy penalty and a trademark Joe o Connor goal

Duane Darby was one of the raft of increasingly desperate signings Dean Edwards made towards the end of the 2008-2009 season as we tried to cling on to a play-off place - 0 starts, 5 sub appearances. Other poor attacking signings around that time included Trevor Benjamin, Dale Anderson, Matt Lewis.... as with most previous seasons, you can reel off a good number of dud signings

I saw at the weekend that another ex-Hednesford striker from around the same time with roughly the same impact - Linden Dovey - has resurfaced at Alvechurch, but playing right-back...
