One hell of a player but a non-league club spending that kind of money on a player is a little ridiculous to say the very least.

Radio WM report that Moors have given Marcus Bignot permission to speak to Grimsby.

Confirmed:

He's worked 5 years without a contract at Damson Lane, was talking the other week about finally signing one but it seems that isn't going to happen...

I'm so happy for them.

Missing: 800 Telford fans

A novel excuse though....

I see they had "Mr Massey-Ellis" reffing yesterday.... Must be Sian's hubby. I wonder what they talk about at home?

Well done those East Kilbride boys, and shame on the Guinness Book of World Records for being pedantic!

Probably read the stories that they were looking to bring new players in and assumed their money worries were in the past.

You'd want your manager betting against his own team wouldn't you!

Cash-strapped Bucks bring in another player

They had four centre-halves at the beginning of the season, Macca has since regained fitness....

Just saying....

FC United of Manchester?

800 fans gone missing there too (see the post at the top of this page)

Where are they all????? :?

One thing the story of both FCUM and AFCTU does tell us is that even under fan-ownership there is no guarantee of success on or off the field

Non League Round-up now on TalkSPORT 2 (you can find it on your DAB, or it's probably on one of those App things.....) with Tony Incenzo at 2.40pm on Mondays

Better, at least, than that thing which Five Live used to hide away at 5.30am on Saturdays and is now available only on audioboom...

Margy chips in to the FCUM crisis fund. And now you know how much these guys get for being an "expert" for a couple of hours (that said, I'd rather they have a NL manager than the guys who know nothing about NL football....) - nice work.....

http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/m_story.php?story_id=7195

BTW, Stour live commentary on Five Live from 2pm Sunday, not quite as remunerative as being on telly, but still a nice boost to their already swelling coffers!

I wonder if anyone at Telford did the same for their crisis fund? By the way it's the end of November today.....
