Games are running out and whilst Danny Glover has been dropped in it a bit with the current situation and the timing of it, I'd like to think he has an eye on the medium term too as this squad is destined for relegation.
I think the total focus is now on this season and avoiding relegation at all costs.
Next season is not under considereation at the moment!

By medium term , I mean February and beyond. I don't think signing players like Chay Tilt will keep us up based on his spell with us. I accept we have to ensure we have enough players to put a team out, but if we are to stay up we simply need a bit more quality and that won't happen overnight.

The suggestion elsewhere that we might aim to re-sign Wycherley may prove prescient..

I’m not sure. Didn’t Wycherley fall out with KMR, and therefore Deaks as well. If Deaks is calling the shots in terms of signings he may not want him back unless they have kissed and made up.

Not sure if you are allowed to say that on here - I may have to refer it to VAR!

Levi Andoh re-signs for Hereford and goes straight into the side for today’s derby against Kiddy:

Surprising that he’s moved back up to step two; maybe Burr didn’t utilise him correctly as he always looked like he had a mistake in him.

Wide man signs up
Welcome Stanley. A direct replacement for the ‘other’ Stanley?

Not wanting to claim the pedant-in-chief title, but his surname appears to have been spelt wrong on the release (and Alvechurch is also spelt wrong):

Disappointed to see livingstone go as I thought he was a good player. He was quick enough to leave stafford to come to us though so will be interesting to see where he pops up next.
Don't know whether he was frustrated here or has simply decided there is more money to be earned elsewhere.
More upheaval!!! The turnover of players is pretty astounding, but you could say the same about managers!

Livingstone has a good left foot on him for crosses but he has increasingly been played in a more defensive left sided position (left back/left wing back) of late which doesn’t make the most use of his best quality. Maybe Perton is right or maybe he has got fed up of not being played as an out-and-out left winger which I’m sure he would prefer. His performance at Rushall was dismal although he was not alone.
Hewlett didn’t show me anything to suggest that we should have extended his loan and I can’t believe he is still connected to a League One club three years after his last loan spell here from the same club. I thought they would have released him by now.

Just out of interest, is Starbucks record for the number of players used in a single season under threat?

Welcome Ronnie, was expecting a goalkeeper in although I can't say I'm thrilled at it being a young loanee yet again. Let's hope he's more Brooks than O'Shaughnessy.

I see that he was born in September 2004, so he may be the first player born after our F.A. Trophy win to play for the club 😮 That's a depressing thought for those of us who were at Villa Park that day.

I believe it's just the 47 players so far this season, with Asomugha and Hollingshead likely to make it 49 tomorrow if selected. We've had Jack Broome and Jed Davies on the books but yet to make an appearance this season, whilst Romehl Seraton was part of the squad early doors but never made an appearance before leaving. 64 players used in 2018-2019 under Smith/Francino/Eaden/Hayward is the current record according to what I have. Still a long way to go but wouldn't be surprised if we went close to this number by April.

Things are rapidly falling apart.
Say what you like about the budget, but players just don't want to play for us.
Time now to start identifying targets for next season at step 4
