Not just yours Billy.

A lot of emails and texts have passed back and forth off-forum during the summer and many of us rate Jay (and, indeed Jevo) as better than at least one of the players who've been brought in to replace them.

Time will tell, as you say.... in the meantime Jay retains HTFC legend status and, until or unless he returns, his last kick for the club was a Bradford PA player, classic

Ditto Billy & Glynn. In my last post in June I said there was no possible reason to let Jay go, after the 2 successfull seasons he had with us. At 26 years old , well experienced at our level , he still hasn't reached his prime. I would like thank Jay for his service to the club and wish him all the best at Worcester as I am sure he will adapt to the higher level given the chance. If you read this Jay all the best in the future.

Stuart Hendrie signs for Stourbridge

You can debate whether he's really a HTFC Old Player, but he's played in a Pitmen shirt more times than I have

Liam Blakeman scored the first of Bootle's goals in their 2-0 win away at Congleton as the North West Counties League kicked off today.

Marlon Walters to Romulus

Anyone want to bet on how long he stays there?... (or when he gets his first red card...?)

30 seconds into his first game answers both of those questions.

You're a terrible man

Like Pascal Chimbonda elsewhere, the question of a Marlon Walters Testimonial is unlikely to arise...

Talking of testimonials I bet this guy never gets one either.

Do you remember him - Ouch!!!!!!

Interestingly for some reason Hednesford are not listed as one of his former clubs.

Bet Eastwood are glad he's not still around :-D

Bumped into Steve Piearce in a local town centre recently. Told me he is now out of the Police, and like Sting has gone solo. Only joking...

..he sells Catalytic Converters with Nick Colley instead.

Always remembered for a hat trick away at Clevedon, and that pass to set up Brinner at Villa Park. :-)

I have to mention that Jay Denny's first match for Worcester should have been away at Bradford Park Avenue in a few days time, just 105 days after ending his Hednesford career there with a wild lunge resulting in a red card and a 5-0 defeat! Of course, he'll be suspended so he can't be tempted to do it again!

Not entirely Jay's fault... the awful decision for their penalty and Clemmo missing ours didn't help...

Hmmmm..... of the fairly-recently-departed-to-BSP football group, Stychey and Kyle Patterson got a few minutes on the pitch, Clemmo was an unused sub, Dunkley didn't even get on the bench for Kidder... and Masha played the full 90 in a good Tamworth win.

Will be fascinating to see how they progress.... or don't...

He'll soon have played for as many midlands NL clubs as I've been on grounds (197 at the last count... )

Staggering. I think the figure "37" is missing from "... his xx former clubs"

And having seen VM in action the other week, I don't share that optimism about their prospects for the season ahead.... but hey, Ellison could be the final piece in the jigsaw...
