I'm sure that even they wouldn't be daft enough to sign him up...

I could write a long essay of how he needs to sort his life out judging by that interview but much like his attitude of last season, I can't be bothered!

“(I was told I was going to play a) massive part,â€
So....from my understanding of how an interview transcript is written, does this mean he just blurted out MASSIVE PART and they have been forced to contextualize it?

A Pitmen Regular and very good friend of mine has suggested to me off-forum that he'd have Perry in his worst-ever HTFC X1. Dare we start another thread along those lines? ("Fair comment" is a legitimate defence against libel actions )
I'll think about it - and I already have a keeper in mind....
Perry in action for Strangers, a goal for Craddock and very nearly goal of the pre-season for Tayls
Chasetown are going to have a very tough season if they keep trying to play the ball out from the back and giving it away, as they did at our place a month or so ago

I wonder if Jazz Luckie is going to become this season's Luke Benbow....
It'll be playing alongside Clinton Morrison which has inspired him. Did us a favour too, meant CM wasn't on Channel 5 last night....
Elsewhere on that page RTB on the mark for Brakes, another player who seems to have fulfilled his potential since leaving Keys Park...

Looking through the teams who played yesterday, I noticed several ex- players who didn't even make the bench, Adam Thomas at Stockport, Steve Diggin at Brackley, Jack Truelove at Curzon, Jamey Osborne at neither Solihull or Crewe and Kennedy Digie at Kiddy.

Looks like Ossie missed out at Crewe. According to the Solihull forum he didn't play as his head wasn't in the right place. Nice to see him committed to Solihull's cause.

Rob Smith also didn't make the bench at Telford. He was still holidaying in New York.

Our intrepid non-league reporter was there and can maybe tell us how he played....

Blose were at home last night, against top opposition (though Chey wasn't in the Oxford squad) which might have reduced Moors' a bit; and it was apparently "a bitterly cold August night" - strange, because when I went out at 0100 this morning it was still 11c....
