Star prize to the Bucks' webmaster for naming that Icelandic club though, with all the accents and things! (... even though there's a hyphen missing....)

At least they missed out on Adam Thomas and I think we can be fairly sure that Tom Thorley and Danny Glover won't be going there.
By the way, I noticed that Jonathan Royle has signed for Southport.

Must admit I'm a bit baffled by the lack of freindlies there are two mid weeks free and a Saturday, seems odd with a completely new set of players to sort out.
Have we signed any one yet? I haven't spotted any myself, does the new manager know how to sign players? Or does he need help?

Hurst is an excellent signing, but he has an eye for goal so may play in midfield. Teams with any sense will attack down Telnesford's left hand side.
Perhaps the fact that we have 46 league games plus lots of cups to play in is behind the reduced number of friendlies.

Give him time.... and just as we don't deal in "rumors" nor do we arrange "freindlies"

Don't understand this obsession with Telford, what has happened has happened it's time to move forward and start concerning ourselves with our own club and the perceived lack of activity on the player front.
We don't just need to sign one or two or a complete team but an entire squad!
Several freindlies can be used for trialists and then take your pick and play them with them with those with known history and start to build.
What we don't want to start doing is using the first month or more of the season to bed players in,the season could be over before it starts.
Points gained early don't have to be gained later.

This is the "old player watch" thread hence we talk about old players of ours, whether they've gone to Telford or anywhere else.
As I hinted at earlier, your subject matter doesn't belong on this thread. And it's "friendlies"

Just noticed on Sky Sports News, while trying to find something on screen that wasn't about my 'other' team's inevitable transition to travelling circus, that Chris Clements has agreed a new contract at Mansfield.
See, I do post on here sometimes.
