They like to get about don't they? That's Grantham, Rainworth, Loughborough and Long Eaton already in their short managerial career!

Anybody remember Emit Eminoglu? He was the lad who came on as sub (I think against Harrogate a couple of seasons ago) and attempted to usurp Elliot Durrell by trying to take set pieces and he generally showed an arrogant attitude. I seem to remember everybody raving about his abilities (including our manager)

He's now turning out for Bromsgrove Sporting.

I think he made his debut coming on as a sub at Gloucester and was booked within five minutes. What a legend!

Indeed and we could already see the attitude problem right away.

Yet another player signed on reputation/video highlights who didn't live up to the billing.

Indeed if you could see the George-Best-style lob I scored from the corner of the box at Lilleshall you'd wonder why I never played in the Champions League. Sadly it wasn't filmed (but my brother was there and would corroborate this if he ever posted on the forum ;) :-D  )

I scored a cracking goal in a Charity game down at the Old Cross Keys ground. Sadly it was the pinnacle of my playing career.

Another goal for Marvin Johnson last night. If my memory is correct, he is one of those discovered by the Kiddy scouting network that Mr Price appears to be be pinning his hopes on by replicating at our place. I think he started out at Romulus.
Between them, Romulus and Sutton have given a start to more than their fair shares of future league players.

Ah, right, I've been allowed to join the group now.

It's either Mushy Davies or a kestrel over Norton Bog...

Dis (in a peculiar "just in front of the back four" role), Woolfie and Jamie Crowther all started for gap CQ (and Nick Rushton came on a sub) as they were soundly thrashed 5-0 by TNS in the Welsh Cup SF at Newtown.

Earlier in the day Wayne Riley was listed in the squad for Airbus but didn't feature as they beat Port Talbot 7-0 in the first SF.

It's not been a good week for the town of Port Talbot... their fans' coach was delayed after a traffic accident and they arrived with 15 minutes to go trailing 0-5

I know that "we" love to poke fun at Welsh Premier League football but those who have actually watched it (whether in league or cup, live or on tv) lately will affirm that these teams play attractive passing football with great ball control, the kind of stuff which has been notably absent from HTFC's performances for the majority of this season

Once the date and venue for the final are confirmed (my understanding is that it's again at Newtown on Bank Holiday Monday) I'll be suggesting that HTITC run a coach so you guys can enjoy a game of football for a change...

;)
