He wasn't enjoying it as he probably realised this was a step too high for his capabilities. He cost us the fa cup game with alfreton with his two errors, then stormed off and was never seen again!

A really poor error in judgement by our ex-manager in my view. he did sign some good players, but also some that didn't work out

As I understood it (and I may be wrong, Rob was always quick to point out that many forum posts were "ignorant", in his word) Rob signed him without seeing him play.
Always risky, reputations and records don't always convey the full current story, the same could be said of a couple more of our summer signings
