BBC Lancashire (I have my spies up there) report that AFC Flyde will today appoint Jim Bentley as their new manager.



He's been at Morecambe since May 2011 (making him the longest serving manager in the League, I think [without having time to check]) but battling against perennial financial crises... I'm sure the Flyde millions would be tempting, despite dropping down a division...
