I used to take my asthma inhaler onto the field and place it behind the goalposts in case of the urgent need to use it.

I'll be waiting for a knock at the door.

None of us, I imagine, would condone drug cheats and most would agree that they should be subject to a lifelong ban. But an asthma inhaler prescribed by a GP?
