It was Andy Morrell who signed Duzza for Wrexham, just before he was sacked.

Maybe Duzza might find himself a lamb next season?

Ty Barnett with the winner for Shrews as they secured a play-off place (and went briefly top of the table)

Thomas and Clements both now starting for Stags, though from a very quick look at the updates it looks like they've turned JT into a dirty player!!

(Scorers for other North/South division haven't been updated at the moment....)

Alex Melbourne didn't feature for Pics today, he was at Solihull with other half and baby watching us, nice to see them

(Decent (crows) at Yeltz, while you're there!)

Liam Francis on the mark again - he really SHOULD tell them how he spells his surname!

He joined them from Sutton some weeks ago - allegedly for more money if the Sutton manager is to be believed

Thanks, strange for them to throw money around when they are smack bang in the middle of the league, unless they have got some sort of commitment for next year as well.

Marcus Law was his old manager at Barwell though.

Steve Snaith on the mark again for Whitby today. Well done old fella

Also Danksy on the mark for Sutton and Carl Palmer, who isn't much younger than Snaithy, for Rushall

Interesting to see whether Strangers can sneak into the play-offs. If Two out of Sutton, Spalding and Gresley can win one more game then they will fail

Macca and Brannan for Kidsgrove; and I think Simon Brown was with us at one stage? (And Jordan Nadat? - my brain hurts)

Nathan Woolfe is now working at a school where I also work so I said hello on Tuesday. He'd been warned there was a Pitman around! He was very positive, perhaps surprisingly, about Rob and the whole HTFC set up. Hopes to stay at Stockport next year but they have a new manager coming in soon so everything is up in the air there.

... new manager from Glossop NE if last night's Twitter/Facebook rumours are to be believed...

Do we have a "Other non league news thread"?

Glossop have had an amazing season - reached the FA Vase Final and all in all they have won 51 games out of 65. In the first 18 days in April they played 9 and won 8 to win their league (fixture backlog due to Vase run). So I can imagine some interest in their manager.

A lot depends on whether the club is well backed financially as to whether he is any good or is just lucky enough to be able to secure the best players in the league. Having said that I can imagine that Stockport will have a very decent budget so perhaps he would continue to do well if he moved up a couple of levels. Stockport certainly underachieved. They are going to finish below us having poached our (only) goalscorer off us!
