It remains one of life's mysteries how we cocked-up that season....Dobba wrote:With 71 goals between them, that front 3 was a bit good wasn't it?

That's quite a big crowd for Ciren, 151 when we played there last season but we accounted for at least half of that number and if memory serves they had at least one gate below 50The Beerhunter wrote:Infront of a crowd of 73 .si attiker wrote:Marv scores in Brackley's win over Cirencester.

I see Bello scored for SCT today.
Funny, he's scored for everyone except....

Midfielder?
I thought he was a right-back. But heck, what do I know about football?
Thanks. I bow to your far superior knowledge!PitmanKeith wrote:Glyn wrote:Ashley Woolliscroft

Think Rob and Larry converted him to full back at Telford.
He was certainly a midfielder in his first spell with the Pitmen.
A Liam Francis on the mark for Belper yesterdayGlyn wrote:Liam Francis, who's had more clubs this season than I've had beef wellington dinners, now with Romulus and playing in midfield, apparently

I think he left Eastwood because of the travelling from his Birmingham home so Leamington should have been alright. Wasn't he playing for Romulus last we heard? I think he's had more clubs this season than most have in their careers!Glyn wrote:A Liam Francis on the mark for Belper yesterdayGlyn wrote:Liam Francis, who's had more clubs this season than I've had beef wellington dinners, now with Romulus and playing in midfield, apparently

Are there two of them, or has he moved on yet again? If so, and bearing in mind that he left one of his clubs this season (was it Leamington?) because the travelling was too much, this is a tad ironic...

Ah, silly me, should have worked that one out, and realised you should never trust anything the NPL tell you....PitmanKeith wrote:
It is THE Liam Francis, still playing for Romulus though, match report below, cracking OWN GOAL by the sounds of it.

Looking at the Belper side good to see an old friend of ours Chris Adam still playing.
And nice to see Gabby and Luther warming the Romulus bench, obviously getting back to their roots
If they have lifted the SLP title it is rather premature. Oxford City in 4th have only played 38 matches, they are 11 points behind and can finish on 82 points. Brackley currently have 81!Perton Pitman wrote:Marv on the mark again for Brackley as they lift the SLP title in front of a crowd of 290.
The 4 other play-off slots are being chased by 5 teams covered by just 3 points
